Course Description

Topics included what is neurofeedback, a short history of the field, and how neurofeedback supports the regulation of the stress response, fostering resilience and emotional healing, and enhancing client outcomes. We provided an overview of different neurofeedback systems and guidance on choosing the best options for various client needs, particularly for those impacted by trauma or stress. Real-life case studies demonstrated its effectiveness in addressing anxiety, and challenges related to attachment and emotional regulation, with specific applications for working with children in foster care. Additionally, we reviewed key research on the effectiveness of neurofeedback for trauma and stress, offering therapists evidence-based insights and actionable tools to improve outcomes and support secure relationships in their practice.
